Australian Body Bergamot 10ml

Bergamot is a citrus fruit in the Rutaceae family, commonly known as the rue or citrus family of flowering plants. It is cultivated in the southern part of Italy and likely a hybrid between bitter orange and lemon or lime. It is an evergreen tree that grows up to 12m tall and propagated by grafting, with the best results using bitter oranges producing strong trees. The oil is expressed from the peel of the fruit and although the juice was previously discarded because of its bitter taste, it is now being used to fortify fruit juice in place of synthetic additives. It is well known that Bergamot is used to flavour Earl Grey tea.

Blending: This uplifting essential oil blends well with Cypress, Clary Sage, Frankincense, Jasmine, Lavender, Marjoram, Melissa, Neroli, Rose, Rose Geranium, Sandalwood, Ylang-Ylang and Vetiver.
